Electrical Fitter / Automotive Electrician

We’re looking for a talented Electrical Fitter / Automotive Electrician to join our team at our Vehicle Conversion Centre in Cumbernauld, Glasgow.

As an Auto Electrician, you’ll take the lead on installing and commissioning a wide range of in‑vehicle electrical and electronic systems. Your work will span new commercial vehicles, cars, and 4x4s across ICE, hybrid, and electric platforms — offering plenty of variety and the chance to broaden your expertise.

The successful Auto Electrician should have the following skills/experience:

  • A strong background in electrical installation and/or assembly — ideally with experience across 12V, 24V, 110V, or 230V systems
  • Confidence reading and interpreting electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Hands‑on experience with electrical workshop tools, including crimping and related equipment
  • A collaborative approach, ensuring quality standards and output targets are consistently met
  • Clear, effective communication skills — both written and verbal

Monday - Thursday 7.30-16:00

Friday 7.30-12.30

***Overtime available***

Pay rate - £12.70- £14.89 (plus a 17.5% shift allowance) - Pay varies depending on shift and experience

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Supplemental pay types:
