Bott have been established for 90 years specialising in the design, manufacture and supply of Workshop and In-Vehicle Equipment, with production facilities here in the U.K, Germany and Hungary, and partner companies throughout the world.
Job Purpose
In the role of Business Development Executive, your focus will be to identify, and target new workshop business opportunities to help grow our sales and customer base. You would also be supporting our internal teams and bott partners, by undertaking client site visits and producing technical quotations.
Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify new sales opportunities using methods such as Barbour ABI (or similar) portal, Jefferson, current news, LinkedIn Professional etc.
- To complete regular prospecting for targeted customers.
- Target the correct / relevant decision maker given the stage of the lead, e.g., Client, Project Manager, Contractor, or Architect.
- With support of the internal Marketing team, develop/tailor the correct messaging to promote the use of bott workshop storage equipment.
- To support the Quotations Team by completing video calls, site visits, project phone call opportunities, and website requests.
- To follow up and action all leads generated from campaigns, exhibitions, dealer days, and live events.
- Monitor and record win/loss results following campaigns etc.
- To provide supporting cover using PX (or similar) design tool to assist the quotations team (training provided).
- To monitor and follow up installations with a satisfaction survey and to check for any aftersales requirements / upsell.
- To update the CRM and ERP systems accordingly in a timely and accurate manner.
Desirable Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years within a Sales Prospecting / Business Development role, ideally within B2B focus.
- “Hands-on” and results driven
- Knowledge of the bott product, specifically the workplace storage equipment or, has the ability to develop this.
- Previous experience of updating and utilising CRM systems in a timely and accurate manner.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Critical thinker, decisive with a problem-solving mentality
- Great communication, negotiation, and influencing skills
- Confident, proactive, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Valid passport
- Full driving licence
Hours:
37 hours per week – Monday - Friday
(for the right candidate we would consider a 4-day working week of 32 hrs)
