David Appleby Engineering

Bott are pleased to announce their support for David Appleby Engineering.

Bott have provided a professional line-up of specially commissioned workshop equipment to David Appleby Engineering, who is running the Invictus Games Racing team throughout the GT race season. With over 30 years’ experience, David Appleby has an enviable reputation within the motorsport industry, and knows James Holder from when he raced under the Generation AMR banner.

Bott has previously partnered with David Appleby on other motorsport projects such as Generation Bentley & Generation AMR, providing the teams with a variety of workplace storage products. Appleby said “Success in motorsport requires dedication, planning and organisation, which in turn demands a smart and organised workspace. Bott equipment delivers this level of excellence, enabling us to focus on the car and the drivers.”

David Appleby Engineering will be working out of their brand new workshop in Brackley, Northamptonshire, to maintain and repair the Jaguar F-Types when off the track. Bott have developed & installed a bespoke storage system, designed to help improve the team’s productivity and efficiency. The wide selection of large & small cupboards, mobile & static drawer cabinets is from the high quality bott cubio range, providing easy access storage for tools, small consumables and spare parts like clutches and brake discs. Mobile cabinets will be used in the pit garages during race meetings and the ‘Invictus Games Racing’ race truck is fully kitted out for track side maintenance.

We’re excited and proud to be involved in supporting David Appleby Engineering and have huge admiration for the 'Invictus Games Racing' team’s desire to succeed and overcome their challenges. We wish them the best of luck as they make their debut at the opening round of the British GT Championships at Oulton Park, 31st March – 2nd April.
