Since 1953, the iF (International Forum) have gained worldwide renown as organisers of these independent and reputable design awards, representing excellent and outstanding design achievements.
The bottBox won the award against nearly 5,000 products submitted from 53 countries in the ‘Product in Industry’ category. The judges - made up of international design experts - gave the bottBox this recognition for its unique design and versatile features. The trophies were handed over to the winners during the iF Design Award night celebration, in Munich’s BMW Welt on 27 February 2015.
bottBox is a standardised toolbox, developed for both individual use and for industrial installation workplaces, workshops, warehouses and service vehicles. With the help of its versatile, transparent viewing pane, additional partition walls and covers, it can be fully utilised as a service tray or shelf box as needed. A combination of both variants is also possible thanks to multiple insertion positions for the viewing pane.
bottBox offers numerous ways to organise and securely store consumables. It can be mounted onto both bott louvred panels and bin rails. Thanks to its ingenious base profile, it can be fixed to a slide on a shelf in the bott vario vehicle storage system and used as a drawer.
bottBox features a monochrome base body. Varicoloured labelling clips simplify systematic organisation in the shelf. Two different widths and four different depths ensure space for any small component. Two sleek boxes positioned next to one another are the same size as a wide one and can therefore be replaced accordingly.
