Bott once again successfully fitted out a multi purpose van to be used within the Lothian & Borders Fire & Rescue Service area. The van will primarily be used by Community Safety but will also be used to provide standby facilities for our Fire Investigation Unit and Command Support when their respective vehicles are "off-the-run" for annual maintenance. The specification required easily demountable storage cabinets be supplied for each of the functions to permit rapid changeovers with the permanent vehicles to be achieved. Additionally there was a requirement for a fourth person to be carried in the rear of the vehicle in a seat with integral passenger restraint.
