Growth brings further success for Bott.
On 17th May 2007, Clive Woodward and Simon Fry of Bott Ltd attended the 2007 Cornwall Business Awards held at St.Mellion Golf and Country Club as guests of Barclays Bank.
With over 130 entries, this year’s awards were well supported by a wide range of successful Cornish based businesses, and the ceremony took place in front of a packed auditorium reflecting its growing recognition within the business community.

At the start of the event, Scottish entrepreneur, Michelle Mone, head of MJM International, gave a witty and inspirational keynote speech that traced her rise from humble beginnings in the east end of Glasgow to her present role running one of the world’s largest Lingerie Corporations with several market-leading brands including the Ultimo bra.

For the second year running the achievements of Bude-based Bott Ltd were recognized by the judging panel and based on its outstanding revenue and profit development from 2004 to 2006, the company won the category ‘Growth Strategy of the Year’ (sponsored by actnow),.  The award followed successes at the inaugural awards in 2006 when Bott took the prize for ‘Business Leader’ of the Year and the overall award ‘Winner of Winners’.

Receiving the award from Michelle Mone, CEO Clive Woodward acknowledged his pride in the Company’s achievements and reaffirmed that the success reflected the efforts of a strong and motivated team, and a concerted effort to further enhance the range of added-value services offered to the market.
