bott Receives Award For Innovation |
| bott won the Enterprise Through Innovation trophy at the recent Leicestershire Business Awards, and was also nominated as one of the three finalists in the Business of the Year category. The annual awards, which were held at Leicester’s De Montfort Hall on 18 April, recognise businesses that have demonstrated outstanding success. |
Accepting the coveted award, Kevin Woodward, Managing Director of bott’s Ashby de la Zouch-based Vehicle Enhancement Division, said: “When bott was announced as category winner I was stunned and delighted. To reach the Business of the Year shortlist was absolutely incredible. The award symbolises the pride and passion that all of us feel for our product and the service we provide to our customers. I am immensely proud of the growth we have achieved and the employment opportunities we have created.”
bott offers a complete in-vehicle storage and enhancement service, taking care of every aspect of preparing a vehicle for commercial use. With a 2007 company turnover of £21 million, its impressive client list includes BT Fleet, Caterpillar and Coca Cola. bott employs 140 staff at its Ashby operation and a further 160 at its manufacturing plant in Bude, Cornwall.
In order to secure the Enterprise Through Innovation title bott had to fulfil the judges criteria, demonstrating significant growth in turnover and profits relative to its size through innovation of products or services or an innovative approach to customers or business ethos. http://www.bizawards.co.uk |  |  | |
