bott Vario - racking, shelving and storage system

In a world where service and deadline compliance are the top priorities, a business must be able to assist customers quickly and with a minimum of fuss. In-Vehicle equipment saves searching time and guarantees fewer empty rides giving you higher productivity. The mobile workshop stores all your tools and equipment safely and neatly in a minimum amount of space. A high-quality workplace environment motivates staff and conveys professionalism to customers.

The bott Vario system combines innovation, design and functionality. The striking design features do not merely provide the system with its unique look, but also enables it to meet important safety requirements. To put it another way, with the bott Vario system, function and design are nseparable. The underlying philosophy is geared towards creating the maximum degree of functionality, modularity and flexibility to ensure that it can be installed in almost any type of vehicle and tailored to the widest variety of requirements imaginable.

The striking red protective endframe trims, drawer handles and dividers used throughout the various elements of the system, are the most obvious visual features of the system (other colours are available as an option).

Nevertheless, there are also a number of ‘hidden’ design and construction features that emphasise the high degree of innovation of the Bott system. For example, a locking mechanism has been developed which enables a one-handed operation of drawers, shelves, dropfront shelves and doors. Bott Vario in-vehicle equipment is predominantly made from sheet steel and aluminium. The result being that rigidity is achieved in conjunction with material savings thanks to modern production techniques.

Safety has always been an indispensable part of the development and production of bott Vario storage systems. However, even the best theoretical design in the world will amount to nothing unless it can prove itself in practice. Since 1991 more than 15 crash tests have been carried out. During this time, compliance with the stringent and demanding guidelines of the ECE-R 17/07 test standard have been achieved. For the purpose of comparison, this test standard is also used in the safety testing of child seats.
