in-vehicle storage now delivered in a week
Quick Ship includes the most popular units from the Bott Normline range for all leading commercial vehicles, providing excellent flexibility to customers with faster delivery for rapid preparation of new and existing vehicles. Bott recognised that the majority of customers specified a relatively small number of standard units from its Normline range even though the choice is extremely large. | ![]() |
| Quick Ship aims to simplify specification and configuration by limiting choice to the most popular Normline drawer, shelving and locker units manufactured by Bott. Each combination of units has been carefully selected by Bott to allow customers to maximise the utilisation of space in any of the UK’s leading commercial vehicles with complete flexibility. Even with limited choice the number of potential combinations for each vehicle runs into hundreds. Customers choose a unit for the nearside, offside front and offside rear positions inside their vehicle from a choice of up to eight for each location. Many of the modules can be supplied with a worktop so that customers can create in-vehicle workshop facilities for even greater versatility. A range of standard accessories including vices, drawer inserts and dividers, interior lighting, first aid kits, and hand washer is also available. All units in the Quick Ship service can be delivered anywhere in the UK within seven working days of an order being placed. Each unit is shipped on a pallet, fully assembled with instructions, fitting kit and everything else required to ensure rapid and safe installation. Bott is also offering a nine-working-day fitting service from date of order for customers who prefer to have their new equipment installed by Bott at its dedicated conversion facilities in Ashby and Cumbernauld. “Customers know what they want but aren’t always familiar with the best way to configure their vehicles,” says Stephen Turner. “Quick Ship makes it easy by presenting a limited number of options based on the most popular Normline products so that most customers can quickly specify and configure the combination that meets their requirements.” Quick Ship brochures are available covering options for all leading vehicle models. Bott will continue to offer the full range of Normline products for customers who want to specify their in-vehicle storage and workshop equipment with total freedom. The Bott Normline range comprises drawer, shelving, lockers, worktops and accessories that can be installed in any of the leading commercial vehicle models. All units are manufactured in the UK to the ISO9001 manufacturing and ISO14001 environmental standards using heavy-duty steel to ensure they are robust and durable to protect stored items in the most arduous applications. The range also includes portable storage boxes and service cases so that parts and tools can be transferred easily from the vehicle to the workplace. Bott products incorporate a number of features designed to promote security and safety. For example, locking bars prevent unauthorised access to stored items and trigger locks stop drawers from rolling open unexpectedly when the vehicle is stationary or in motion to eliminate the risk of damage. The careful design and installation of in-vehicle storage and workshop equipment helps to ensure tools and other items are stored neatly, safely and securely when the vehicle is in motion but are readily available when needed. This promotes productivity because less time is spent locating items and reduces costly damage to tools and equipment during transit. It also helps users to comply with health and safety regulations and guidelines for the stowage and transportation of equipment and when working from a vehicle. Bott Ltd is the UK’s leading manufacturer and installer of in-vehicle storage equipment. Its Normline storage systems include shelving units, drawer service case units, lockers, bulkheads, floors and linings and in-house signs and graphics department.
