As part of its fundraising activities for the charity Help for Heroes, Bott Ltd will be holding a golf day at the Bude and North Cornwall Golf Club this Friday, April 20th.

Help for Heroes was founded in 2007 and aims to help people from the armed forces who have been severely wounded in action, and to assist them to integrate back into society. The charity has already raised in excess of £130 million, and its current priority is to build, equip and run five personnel recovery centres in Edinburgh, Catterick, Colchester, Tidworth and Plymouth.

The Bott Help for Heroes golf day is being held at Bude North Coast Golf Club, with 72 players taking part. The event includes a lunch presentation and prizegiving, and has been supported by many of Bott's customers and suppliers. It is thought that by organising the event Bott will have raised in excess of £4000 for Help for Heroes. We would like to thank our sponsors who have generously donated to support the work of Help for Heroes.

The golf event is just one part of Bott's fundraising activity for Help for Heroes. In December 2011, the company organised a charity raffle, raising £2613, and in May 2012 CEO Clive Woodward and Finance Director Simon Fry are taking part in a sponsored bike ride, cycling 350 miles from Portsmouth to Dover via Normandy.
