The Royal Highland Show will be held from June 25 - 28 2009 and is regarded as one of the top agricultural events and is one Scotlands biggest outdoor event attracting over 160,000 visitors of all ages.

Visitors to the show will be spoilt for choice for things to see and do. The show is family friendly. Accompanied children under 16 get free entry to the show!

Description

The Royal Highland Centre (RHC) is a multi-purpose venue located on the outskirts of Edinburgh and is one of the largest venues of its kind in the UK.

It has a range of facilites to match its pedigree, from Exhibition Halls, Banqueting and Conference, outdoor theatre and landscaped grounds all within a 110 acre site.

Scotlands National Showground - home to the world renowned Royal Highland Show - provides the venue solution for todays event industry.

The Royal Highland Centre is easily accessible by car, bus, rail or air. It lies adjacent to Edinburgh International Airport and is only a few hundred metres away from the UK motorway network. It’s reckoned that 60% of Scotland’s population could drive to the Royal Highland Centre within an hour – a vast and accessible reservoir of visitors and spectators!
