Description

Sponsored by the Chief Fire Officers Association, COSLA and the Scottish Government, this inaugural conference is designed for elected Members, Fire Authority Officials and key stakeholders from Local and Central Government.

A two day event, it is aimed at sharing perspectives and debating the key challenges facing the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service.

Within a full programme, the opportunity will exist during both plenary sessions and workshops for Members to gain a greater undertaking of many of the issues that will confront them in the coming years.

This is the first conference of its kind and will give Members of Fire Boards throughout Scotland the opportunity to discuss and share matters of common interest. The important roles of governance and scrutiny will also be addressed.
